Owl nail art

Hi fairies,

Today’s nails features a very popular theme, owls! There are so many versions of owl nails, from beginners ones to professional ones, everybody can try and find the one that suits their skills best! They are cute and sweet regardless, in my opinion!

My version is easy and you can try it out using your favourite colors: I picked a chocolate brown and a purple with gold glitters as background, and then I went on with a lavender nail polish to match the purple one and a hazelnut nail polish to match the brown one. With a dotting tool I drew two large dots at  about one third of the nail length; I filled them in with white acrylic paint and when it was dry, with a smaller dotting tool, I placed two black dots inside them. Use a toothpick or a smaller size dotting tool for the final white tiny dots. I drew a triangle for the beak and upside down V to represent feathers. I hope you like it!

per la nail art di oggi ho scelto un tema molto popolare, le civette! Ce ne sono tantissime versioni, da quelle per principianti fino a quelle più complicate per le professioniste, tutti possono trovare quello più adatto alle proprie capacità e provare a realizzarlo! Secondo me sono tutte carine e di effetto!

La mia versione è facile, e la potete provare usando i colori che preferite: io ho scelto un marrone cioccolato e un viola scuro con glitter dorati come colori di sfondo, e poi ho abbinato un lilla al viola e un nocciola al marrone. Con questi ultimi colori più chiari e un dotting tool ho disegnato, a circa un terzo della lunghezza dell’unghia, due cerchi; una volta asciutti , sempre col dotting tool, li ho riempiti con due cerchi bianchi leggermente più piccoli e poi con due cerchi neri ancora più piccoli. Per finire potete usare uno stuzzicadenti o un dotting tool di misura inferiore e del bianco per le pupille. Ho disegnato un triangolo come becco e delle V rovesciate a rappresentare le piume.
