One product review kiko beam of light highlighter

Hi fairies,
Are you a highlighter addict like I am or you don’t care much about them? I admit I love adding a nice, soft glow to my face, it makes a lot of difference and it looks so good! I’ve got too many highlighters, but I can’t help buying new ones when they come out, and that’s exactly what happened with this one, I bought it because it was a travel size and I said to myself I would have used it up fast..we will see about that!

Let’s see how it’s described: Baked highlighter with fine micropearls for a radiant complexion. The airy, silky-soft texture blends extremely easily and is highly buildable. Depending on the amount applied, you can create a look that is delicate with a pearly sheen or more intense. The highlighter’s compact size is convenient. Price 7.90 £- 7.90 € for 1.5 g – 0.05 oz.
Tuck it in your handbag for quick touch-ups during the day. Available in two radiant colours:

01 Cream
02 Sand

What I like : I like the travel size because it means I won’t be stuck with this highlighter for years, it will be gone fast and that’s good; it’s also perfect for travelling as it’s compact and small, it will fit in your handbag and it won’t feel heavy at all! I love the classic brand’s packaging that allows to see the product inside thanks to a see through lid. The color is a champagne gold , very beautiful and classy , that will complement many skin tones : it’s buildable so you can make it less or more intense according to your personal preference and your complexion. The texture is buttery, it’s not powdery, it’s easy to blend, there’s no fall out and there aren’t glitters in it, it just gives you a nice glow without sparkles. It’s very pigmented and it’s not dry, it applies beautifully! There are micro glitters in it if you look closely, but they don’t transfer on the skin, they just reflect the light of a dewy effect, that’s why I said there aren’t glitters in it.  The color pay off is amazing, it almost looks like foiled eyeshadow if you build the color up, so you can get how pigmented it is! Lasting power is good, it stays on for 6 hours at least, which is a great performance for a low cost product!

What I don’t like : after 6 or 7 hours it might start to fade away, depending on the weather and humidity, and when it does you might end up with just tiny glitters on your face, that look good in my opinion, but I know some people don’t like glitters much, so it’s something to keep in mind. If you’re not used to apply highlighters and you go heavy handed the color pay off will be really vibrant , and you might not want to look like a strobe light, so I suggest to apply a little bit at a time because you really need the tiny amount of product as it’s extremely pigmented!

My verdict: I would definitely repurchase it because I love the texture, I love the color and the color pay off, it’s silky and blendable, it lasts quite long, it’s so compact it doesn’t take too much room in my handbag, quality price ratio is really good, all in all it’s a great highlighter!

Italian version:

Ciao fatine,
 01 Cream;
-02 sand
Prezzo 7.90 £- 7.90 € per1.5 g – 0.05 oz.
