One product review Kiko cleansing water/acqua micellare struccante

Hi fairies,
As you probably know I’ve been using many Kiko skin care products lately and I’m very happy with them, they work great for my skin, they’re not expensive , they’re gentle and they’re very effective! I want to try them all so everytime I run out of a product I replace it with a Kiko one, and that’s exactly what happened with the cleansing water, the first one I’ve tried in a long time!

Let’s see how it’s described:cleanses with just a few strokes, attracting every trace of makeup and removing it easily. Thanks to natural extracts the skin is clean and moisturized. The special dispenser has been designed to perfectly wet the cotton pad without waste and without turning the bottle upside down. Price 6.90 £ -6.90 € for 200 ml.

What I like : I was skeptical about the dispenser because similar one I tried in the past broke easily and fast, but I actually love this one: it’s very easy to get the right amount of product on a cotton pad, there’s no waste of product at all! It’s got a subtle scent that won’t bother people who are sensitive to strong fragrances; I love the fact that it’s not greasy and it doesn’t leave a sticky layer on my skin like most micellar waters, this one doesn’t need to be rinsed with water! That was one of the reasons why I usually bought regular cleanser milk and tonic, but I haven’t had any issues with this water, and I have to say it’s very effective at removing waterproof makeup, which is the reason why I decided to purchase it: my regular eye makeup remover works pretty well even if it’s not formulated to remove waterproof makeup, but it doesn’t get rid of some waterproof and mascaras and it was really annoying because I had to keep rubbing and my skin got irritated, which is not good at all. This water is gentle but it works well, it doesn’t remove everything with one wipe like , probably, others do, but it’s definitely effective and I can tell there’s a difference with non waterproof eye makeup removers. Quality price ratio is great, one bottle will last for months as a little goes a long way !

What I don’t like : as I said it doesn’t remove any waterproof products with one wipe, I have to rub the cotton pad few times with some of them, for example with they’re real! Mascara just to mention one, but that mascara is one of the hardest to remove in my opinion and , to be honest, I prefer a gentle product rather than an aggressive one.

My verdict: I will definitely repurchase, it’s one of the best makeup removers I’ve ever tried, it’s fast, gentle, effective, it doesn’t irritate my skin and I haven’t experienced any breakouts! It’s also very cheap, I don’t think I could ask for more!

Italian version:

Ciao fatine,
