Today I’m going to talk about two brand new bio primers Neve Cosmetics will launch on the 8^th of October, and if you know me you know I’m obsessed with face primers, I’ve started using them last year and I wondered how I lived without them so far! They are a must for me and one of the first products I would repurchase if I lost all my makeup , that’s how much I love them! Neve sent me their new bio primers to try them, and I’ve been very happy about it! This will be a first impression and presentation post because I’ve had them for few days and I need more time to test them; I will write a full review in about a month or so.

Let’s see how they’re described: neve Cosmetics has created a free silicon face primer you can use on an everyday basis because it won’t clog your pores and it’s not bad for your skin! Bio Primer is not only a primer but a beauty everyday treatment! It works in a very simple and natural way:  a mix of minerals mimic the “soft focus” effect silicon usually provides, it will minimize imperfections and it will smoothen your skin , high quality vegetal ingredients will make your makeup last longer and they will nourish your skin at the same time; Bio Primer feels very comfortable , the texture is similar to a fluffy cream and it’s very easy to apply , you can use your fingers if you like!

It’s available in two versions: Bio Primer brightening for dry skin ,with nourishing argan oil, shea butter and aloe vera extract for moisturizing and protection , it evens and smoothens your skin and it will give a glowy finish to it.

Bio Primer Mattifying for combo to oily skin, with silica ,which is very effective at absorbing shine, rice oil, and jojoba oil that will keep your skin toned , it will even out your skin and it will give a matte finish to it.

They are both vegetarian and vegan friendly, cruelty free, and fragrance free!

First impression: product has got a light and fluffy texture, and when it comes out of the tube it seems there’s a bit of color to it, but it melts into your skin beautifully and it’s not tinted at all, it will suit any skin tones; compared to silicon face primers it is lighter and it doesn’t smoothen the skin as much as they do, that’s the impression l had when I swatched it, and I think it was to be expected by a silicon free primer,  even though I have to say it evens the skin out and it minimizes pores a bit . I have yet to test its lasting power , what I can say so far is that the consistency is different, the Bio Primer resembles a face cream while silicon primers are velvety and you can immediately feel and see your skin more even and your pore filled; with this one the result is not that stunning but it does minimize imperfections and it helps keep shine at bay. In my opinion this is a great everyday primer , it’s not too much , you will still have a natural look , not an airbrushed one , and you won’t put silicon on your skin which is great! For a night out or on special occasions you might want to use a silicon one, if you’re looking for a flawless and airbrushed look.

Oggi voglio parlarvi dei due nuovi primer viso di Neve Cosmetics, disponibili dall’8 ottobre , e chi mi conosce sa quanto sia dipendente da questo tipo di prodotto che ho iniziato ad usare lo scorso anno e che, da allora, non ho più abbandonato, anzi mi sono chiesta come avessi fatto a vivere senza fino a quel momento! Sarebbe uno dei primi prodotti che ricomprerei se dovessi perdere tutta la mia collezione di trucco, per me sono indispensabili, non posso farne a meno! Neve mi ha inviato i due nuovi Bio Primer da provare, e ne sono molto contenta! Oggi vi presenterò i prodotti e vi dirò le mie prime impressioni perché mi sono arrivati da pochi giorni e non sono sufficienti per scrivere una recensione completa, che arriverà tra circa un mese, quando li avrò provati per un periodo abbastanza lungo.

Vediamo come vengono descritti:  L’ha creata Neve Cosmetics per uniformare la pelle anche tutti i giorni senza ricorrere a siliconi, petrolati né altre sostanze sgradite alla pelle.
BioPrimer eleva il concetto di primer a trattamento di salute quotidiana del viso, una vera coccola di bellezza!
BioPrimer funziona in maniera semplice e naturale: pregiate miscele di minerali simulano l’effetto ‘soft focus’ del silicone, mimetizzando le imperfezioni e rendendo la pelle visibilmente liscia ed omogenea, mentre preziosi ingredienti vegetali favoriscono la perfetta tenuta del makeup donando nel contempo idratazione e comfort.

BioPrimer ha la consistenza di una crema soffice e si applica facilmente (anche con le dita!) su tutto il viso prima del trucco.

Prime impressioni: il prodotto ha una consistenza soffice e leggera, e quando esce dal tubo sembra essere colorato, ma si fonde benissimo con la pelle, e il colore si perde, è adatto a tutte le carnagioni; messo a confronto con i primer siliconici ho notato immediatamente la consistenza più leggera e anche che non leviga e minimizza i pori tanto quanto questi ultimi, e credo sia normale per un prodotto senza silicone, che comunque uniforma l’incarnato e rende i pori leggermente meno visibili. Devo ancora testarne la durata, posso dirvi che la consistenza è molto diversa da quella dei primer siliconici, i bio primer somigliano più ad una crema idratante, mentre i primer siliconici sono vellutati e, non appena li applicate, avete la sensazione che la vostra pelle sia più uniforme, che le rughette e i pori siano riempiti e meno visibili; il risultato che si ottiene con i bio primer non è così eclatante ma è comunque un buon risultato, aiuta a tenere la lucidità sotto controllo e vi regala un incarnato più uniforme. Secondo sono degli ottimi primer da usare tutti i giorni, perché il risultato che si ottiene è piuttosto naturale, e inoltre vi permette di non applicare silicone sulla pelle, caratteristica da non sottovalutare! Per una serata speciale e per un risultato impeccabile si può usare un primer al silicone, se vi piace avere una pelle impeccabile e super levigata.
