This month
I’ve got lots of empties to show you, so I will go straight to my list else
this post will be too long!
Let’s start
with hair care products: I’ve used Pantene aqualight shampoo and conditioner,
and I liked them both, the shampoo is delicate but it cleans my hair just as it
should, and conditioner is nourishing enough for my hair, that is dry. Shampoo
lasted much longer than conditioner, I use a lot so it lasted not more than
five times, but it happens with any brands!
The John
Frieda frizz ease mask was supposed to
be used like a conditioner, you should put it on and wait five minutes , and
then you rinse it away; I use it as a leave in mask, and it worked pretty well!
I applied it on damp hair, I combed it through and I didn’t rinse it: my hair
were soft and frizz free! The texture wasn’t too thick, it was easy to apply, I
like it and I’m thinking of repurchasing.
Let’s move
on to nail care: I ran out of two essence studio nail products, I like them
both and these are not the first bottles I bought, I like the better than gel
nails top coat, especially the new formula that doesn’t thicken like old one;
this one stays thin and liquid till the end ; I used the nail hardener as base
coat , I haven’t noticed a significant improvement but it was alright as base
coat.
I finished
a tooth paste, AZ pro expert gum protection: it was a mini size but I didn’t
like the taste and the feeling on my teeth, it was weird , it felt warm and it
seemed to make my teeth sensitive while using it. I’m not buying it again.
I always
use a sun screen as my makeup base, and I tried Coop one with SPF 30 but I
don’t like it at all! It’s too liquid and it takes ages to get absorbed, in
fact it never gets totally absorbed and I had to take the excess off with a
tissue. Definitely not the right sun screen for me , I like kiko one way more .
I’m very
happy to have finished Dior foundation diorskin nude: here you can read my
review, it is a good foundation but it’s not the perfect match for my skin, and
I wouldn’t repurchase it because it is expensive and I buy a high end
foundation only if it does exactly what I’m looking for, else I’ll go for a
drugstore one!
I’ve gotten
rid of the body shop seaweed purifying facial cleanser, here you can read my
review: it is my favourite cleanser and it has been already replaced by a brand
new bottle!
I have to
throw away this Cinecittà camouflage foundation: I’ve bought it a couple of years ago and
I’ve given it so many chances, but it just doesn’t work! First of all it’s very
thick, it’s very hard to apply it : I tried everything, from sponges to brushes
to fingers, and it’s so sticky and thick it’s just not worth the effort. It’s
way thicker than any creamy concealer you’ve ever tried, even if you warm it up
with your hands it doesn’t soften at all. I don’t like it one bit and it’s time
to go separate ways.
Also I’m
extremely happy to announce I’ve used a whole jar of lush concentrate pigments,
and I will never purchase another one again! I had to force myself to use it, I
really didn’t want to throw it away and waste my money, and applying it with
kiko Rock Boulevard face brush helped quite a bit, but it was still a product
that didn’t set on my skin and it made my skin shine a lot, so no thank you,
never again! Here you can read what l think about it.
A concealer
I really like and I repurchased already is the Benefit Boi-ing, I reviewed ithere: the only fault is that it creases a bit in my under eye area , but it
works really well on blemishes and as highlighter, it is the right consistency
and it’s very longlasting! I’ve found a good under eye concealer that doesn’t
crease ,and I’ll post a full review soon!
I’ve used three eyeliners, one is a very good one, Catrice liquid liner 01 dating joe black: it’s got a felt tip but it allows to draw very thin lines, color is rich and even, and it’s very inexpensive, so I’m going to buy it again if I find it! The second one is a Kiko colour liner, it wasn’t very pigmented and it was a bit watery and to be honest I didn’t use it often because drawing an even line was impossible. There’s a glittery one that is totally dry and I’m throwing it away, I don’t remember when I bought it but I think it’s quite old.
For body
lotion this month I used an H&M body oil macadamia and vanilla: it was
moisturizing and it gets absorbed fast, but it was basically scent free, I
couldn’t smell vanilla at all or anything else for that matter , and that was a
bit disappointing for a foodie scent lover like me! The oil itself is good
though.
Here’s
another the body shop almond hand and nail cream, as you know it’s my favourite
and I talked about it here! It is very moisturizing, it’s got a nice scent,
it’s not too thick, I love it!
I’ve tried my first Kiko skin care product, it’s a cleansing scrub ,and I’ll soon post a full review: it’s not bad, it does what it says but it’s not one of the best I’ve ever tried. It’s average and alright for the price .

That’s it
for this month, there are two samples just, one it’s of a World of beauty
reviva detox cream, anti stress anti fatigue cream: I love the smell of their
creams, they are amazing! The sample provided two applications so I can’t
really say much about it, it wasn’t greasy and it felt hydrating; last one is
Bema protective cream, a very rich cream that seems really moisturizing.

Ciao fatine,
Questo mese ho tanti prodotti finiti da mostrarvi, quindi
comincio subito, altrimenti il post sarebbe veramente troppo lungo!
Iniziamo con i prodotti per i capelli: ho usato lo shampoo e
il balsamo Pantene aqualight, e mi sono piaciuti entrambi; lo shampoo è
delicato ma pulisce i capelli in profondità, e il balsamo è nutriente anche sui
miei capelli, che sono secchi. Lo shampoo mi è durato molto più a lungo del
balsamo, che credo di aver finito in circa cinque lavaggi, ma per me è normale,
mi succede con qualsiasi marca!
La maschera per capelli John Frieda anti crespo andrebbe
usata come un balsamo, applicata sui capelli bagnati, lasciata in posa per
circa cinque minuti, e poi risciacquata; io l’ho usata come dopo shampoo e non
la risciacquavo, e mi ci sono trovata bene! La applicavo sui capelli umidi, li
pettinavo , e me li lasciava morbidi , eliminando l’effetto crespo. Ha una
consistenza non troppo liquida né troppo densa, che la rende facile da
distribuire sui capelli. Sto pensando di ricomprarla!
Passiamo ai prodotti per le unghie: ho finito due prodotti
essence, della linea studio nail, con cui mi trovo bene e che non ho usato per
la prima volta. Il better than gel top coat ha una nuova formulazione
decisamente migliore della vecchia, infatti non si addensa come l’altro, e si
usa agevolmente fino alla fine; il nail hardener, che ho usato come base, non
ha reso le mie unghie particolarmente dure , non ho notato nessuna differenza,
ma faceva il suo lavoro come base.
Ho finito un dentifricio, l’ AZ pro expert gum protection:
era un formato prova, ma non mi sono trovata bene, il sapore non era affatto
gradevole e mi dava l’impressione di rendere i denti sensibili, non lo
ricomprerei.
Uso sempre una protezione solare come base per il trucco, e
ho voluto provare quella della Coop con SPF 30, ma non mi è piaciuta: ha una
consistenza molto liquida e non si assorbe mai completamente, infatti io dovevo
eliminare l’eccesso con una salvietta. A parità di prezzo secondo me è molto
più valida quella Kiko, con cui mi trovo bene.
Sono contenta di aver finito il fondotinta Dior Diorskin
nude, di cui potete leggere la recensione qui: è un buon fondotinta ma non è il
più adatto al mio tipo di pelle, e non lo ricomprerò perché costa parecchio, e
sono disposta a spendere molto per un fondotinta solo se risponde a tutte le
mie esigenze, altrimenti tanto vale usarne uno di fascia di prezzo media.
Ho finito il latte detergente alle alghe di The Body Shop,
qui potete leggere la mia recensione: è il mio latte detergente preferito, ho
già aperto una nuova bottiglia!
ho deciso di buttare questo fondotinta Cinecittà effetto camouflage che ho comprato un paio di anni fa, e a cui ho dato tante possibilità: purtroppo ha una consistenza troppo pastosa, dura , difficile da prelevare e da stendere; ho provato con la spugnetta, con diversi tipi di pennelli e anche con le dita, ma in nessun caso sono riuscita ad ottenere un risultato soddisfacente. È più pastoso di qualunque correttore abbiate mai provato, anche scaldandolo con le mani non si ammorbidisce, quindi è arrivato il momento di dirci addio!
Sono felice di essere riuscita a finire un’intera confezione
di pigmenti concentrati Lush, e non ne comprerò mai più un’altra! Mi sono
forzata ad usarla perché mi dispiaceva buttarla e buttare via i soldi, e devo
dire che applicandola con il pennello viso di Kiko della collezione Rock
Boulevard il risultato era migliorato notevolmente, ma comunque non si fissava
bene sulla mia pelle, e si lucidava dopo pochissimo. Qui potete leggere la mia

Un correttore con cui invece mi trovo bene e che ho già
ricomprato è il Boi-ing di Benefit, di cui ho parlato qui: l’unico difetto che
ha è che, intorno agli occhi, mi evidenzia leggermente le rughe di espressione,
ma copre perfettamente le imperfezioni ed è anche valido come illuminante, ha
una consistenza giusta e dura a lungo. Ho finalmente trovato un correttore che
non segna il contorno occhi, e ve ne parlerò presto!
Ho anche finito tre eyeliners: uno è molto valido, il
Catrice liquid liner 01 dating joe black, ha la punta in feltro che però
permette di tracciare linee molto sottili, il colore è pieno , ed ha un prezzo
molto basso, quindi lo ricomprerò sicuramente; il secondo è uno della linea
colorata di Kiko che non era molto pigmentato ed aveva una consistenza acquosa,
infatti non l’ho usato molto ad essere onesta. L’ultimo è un eyeliner
glitterato che si è seccato, non ricordo quando l’ho comprato ma era abbastanza
vecchio.
Questo mese come idratante corpo ho usato un olio di
H&M, alla macadamia e alla vaniglia: era nutriente e si assorbiva
velocemente, purtroppo però era praticamente inodore! Non sentivo né la
vaniglia né qualsiasi altro profumo, e per una amante dei profumi dolci e
biscottati come me è stata una delusione. L’olio in sé mi è piaciuto, è un buon
prodotto.
Ho finito un altro tubo di crema mani ed unghie alla
mandorla di The Body Shop, qui potete leggere cosa ne penso, a me piace molto,
ha un buon odore, non è grassa, si assorbe facilmente e lascia le mani
morbidissime!
Ho provato , per la prima volta, un prodotto per il viso di
Kiko, l’esfoliante, e presto pubblicherò una recensione completa: in breve non
mi sono trovata male, fa quello che deve, ma non è il miglior esfoliante che
abbia mai provato. Per il prezzo che ha va bene, non si possono chiedere
miracoli.
È tutto per questo mese, ci sono solo due campioncini, uno è
di una crema viso defatigante di the World of Beauty, reviva detox cream: io
amo l’odore delle loro creme, sono tutte buonissime! Col campioncino ho fatto
due applicazioni, troppo poche per darvi un parere, comunque mi lasciava la
pelle morbida ed idratata e non unta. L’altro era una crema protettiva della
Bema, ricca ed idratante.
